4 DECEMBER
On the first day of the French section, which is the third stage of the project, we visited Gabriel Peri High School as a guest. Since it was the first day, there was a short presentation to get acquainted, then we toured the school building. We learned about the calendar of the French leg.
After the school tour, we held a "Marshmallow Challenge" with the participation of teachers and students to increase interaction in the electrical workshop. Our aim was to build the tallest and strongest tower using 20 spaghetti, 1 meter of tape, 1 meter of rope and 1 marshmallow. In this context, we obtained 3 separate marshmallow towers with 3 groups and finally put them to the test. We got to know each other on this interactive day.
Afterwards, we created groups including teachers and students, and these groups did different activities every day. All groups prepared presentations about their activities and shared them with everyone at the end of the day. Yellow group adopted another sustainable idea and created an electrical circuit by using waste cables in the electrical workshop.
Green group made a trash bin using waste cardboards.
Blue group found the puzzles hidden in a workshop and completed them together. When they were finished, everyone shared and discussed their ideas about sustainability, gained different perspectives and interacted.

On the 3rd day, with the "Escape Game In Paris" activity, we searched for objects built for sustainability in Paris, such as a car charging station, and took pictures when we found them. During this process, we had the chance to see different parts of Paris. This event lasted until 12 o'clock. Afterwards, all groups came together and had lunch. Then, we visited the "Issy Les Moulineaux" company and examined what they do for sustainability. The company is a pioneer in France in the collection and recycling of waste. Our activities for today ended after the video presentation about nature and how the process works.
